PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic coating that is imparted with prescribed deodorizing functions and antibacterial functions, does not cause deterioration of the surface of a base material to be coated therewith or a resin binder, exhibits durability and requires a coating operation only once, and to provide an indoor interior article and a wallpaper imparted with deodorizing functions and antibacterial functions by coating them with the coating. SOLUTION: The photocatalytic coating comprises a water-repellent resin binder and, incorporated therewith, a metal oxide exhibiting photocatalytic functions, where a porous metal oxide is incorporated in an amount larger than the prescribed amount.
