<p>Method for functional testing of a pump motor integrated in a heating arrangement, especially an induction or pole-switch motor has the following steps: measurement of the motor current shortly after the motor is switched on and then monitoring of the current over time. If the time differential of the current indicates that the current is constant, the motor is assumed to be blocked, while if it indicates it is falling, then the pump is assumed to be working. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is made for a heating arrangement with an integral pump motor that has means for testing whether the pump is working or not.</p> |
