Objective and microscope

The objective has a lighting and detection light (3, 14). The lighting light has a focus in the level of an objective pupil and a screen (13). The screen is impermeable for the lighting light and has a permeable centric range (15) for the detection of light and a permeable boundary region (16) for the lighting light. The boundary region for the detection light is impermeable. The centric range is circular, and the boundary region extends around the circular area. The different permeable ranges of the screen are by a thin translucent carrier (17) with vapor-deposited layers (19, 20). An independent claim is included for a microscope with an objective and a source of light, in particular for the evanescent lighting of a sample.
