The method involves receiving an activity request from a viewer for an Internet protocol television (IPTV) activity. The request is checked against a filter for the viewer and the request is refused when the activity exceeds an authorization limit in the filter. A request is received to exceed the authorization limit, where the request is presented to an account administrator and authorization is notified to a viewer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer readable medium comprising instructions for performing a method for authorizing an activity (2) a set of application program interfaces with an application program. |
