<p>[PROBLEMS] A low cost spool for a fishing line, capable of reliably holding the fishing line wound on the spool. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The spool for a fishing line has a core, a pair of flanges, and a pair of doors. These elements are integrally formed. The doors are individually provided on the outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of flanges. The doors change their attitudes between a closed attitude in which the doors are in contact with each other and an open state in which the doors are separated from each other. The pair of flanges is circular. Each of the doors is a circular disc having elasticity, and the doors are curved so that the fore-ends of the doors press to each other. A holding plate for holding a fishing line is provided at the fore-end of each of the doors. The core, the pair of flanges, and the doors are made from a biodegradable resin.</p> |
