<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet with high white paper glossiness and surface strength and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording sheet comprising an ink receptive layer, formed on at least one of the surfaces of a sheet-like support, the ink receptive layer contains an amorphous silica with 0.5 to 10 μm average particle diameter and a binder.
