Switch has an actuating device, a switching mat (10), which has first and a second contacting device (14,16,18) which responds to an operation of the actuating device. The second electrical signal has a higher amperage than the first electrical signal and/or the transition resistance of the first contacting device is higher than that the second contacting device. The first contacting device is laid out for switching a first electrical signal through contact with a third contacting device and the second contacting mechanism is laid out for switching a second electrical signal by contact with a fourth contacting mechanism. An independent claim is also included for the station of a house door system with a switch.
