PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for simultaneously arranging different fine particles at different positions on a substrate from a suspension liquid in which two kinds of different fine particles are suspended. SOLUTION: In the simultaneous arrangement method of different kind of fine particle by magnetic field, suspension liquid prepared by suspending the two kinds of fine particles into a suspension medium having an intermediate value Xm of the values X<SB>1</SB>and X<SB>2</SB>of magnetic susceptibility of the two kinds of fine particles is developed on the substrate placed on a magnetic field modulator and, thereby, different fine particles are simultaneously arranged at different places in accordance with a magnetic field distribution generated by the magnetic field modulator.
