PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luring member free from fish catching troubles inherent to conventional member comprising the inconspicuous appearance and lack of vivid movement following wave motion. SOLUTION: The member 30 having a fishing hook 20 has a luring member (bait) formed in the form of a squid as a whole and having a plurality of slit pieces at the lower end 33. Fish can be attracted and lured without using other bait to further improve the catching effect by cutting the member in the form of a squid and providing slit pieces 35 resembling squid arms at the lower end.
