PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a dissociation constant in the initial stage of reaction.
SOLUTION: A concentration sensor for sample is provided on the downstream side of a mass sensor. As a result of this, the concentration of a sample liquid at the detection of mass by the mass sensor can be known by the concentration sensor. When the concentration and mass of the sample liquid is substituted in a prescribed theoretical formula, the estimated value of the dissociation constant can be obtained. The concentration sensor is a capacitor constituted of counter electrodes. Since dielectric constant will be changed, if an analyte is present between the electrodes, the concentration of the analyte can be detected on the basis of the dielectric constant. Further, since the capacitor can be miniaturized, a microreactor can be kept to a small size. Moreover, the mass sensor outputs the resonance frequency of a quartz vibrator, and the mass of the sample can be calculated from the transition of this frequency by a measuring instrument.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
