PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image with high quality by correcting a geometrical positional difference of an image which may be generated in an input image due to a distance between image sensors. SOLUTION: A sensor-to-sensor distance correcting means is provided with an extra-line corrector 85 for reading out delayed data when reading out sensor data located on a final position after delaying the reading, until sensor data located on a succeeding position are read out after storing sensor data obtained by reading out an image on a preceding position on an original by using a red signal delay memory, and correcting a positional difference in each integer line out of the distance between the sensors; and an intra-line corrector 86 for correcting a positional difference in each prime number point out of the distance between the sensors by a lookup table in which correcting kernel data are stored.
