This invention provides a laser welded material comprising a laser beam permeable member and a laser beam absorbing member abutted against the laser beam permeable member which have been laser-welded to each other at the abutted site by a laser beam, which has been applied to the laser beam permeable member, passed through the laser beam permeable member, and absorbed in the laser absorbing member. The laser beam permeable member is formed of a laser beam permeable colored resin composition comprising at least an alkaline earth metal salt of an anthraquinone acid dye represented by chemical formulae (1) and/or (2) and a thermoplastic resin.
