PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a reception performance and a transmission performance by providing a folding portable terminal whose reception part and transmission part can be arranged closely to the ear and the mouth of a user respectively at the time of use. SOLUTION: The portable terminal comprises a connection part 19 for foldably connecting first and second case bodies 15 and 17 so that the function surface 45 of the first case body 15 and the function surface 47 of the second case body 17 face each other, and a connection plate provided on the connection part 19 to be extended by resilience to unfold the first and the second case bodies 15 and 17.
