A polishing cloth which can be washed repeatedly without losing its ability to polish comprises a fabric impregnated with a partially cured liquid siloxane polymer in which substantially all the siloxane units are of the general formula R(CH 3 ) SiO, where R is an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical containing 1 or 2 carbon atoms, said liquid being cured to such an extent that from 85 to 95% of the liquid can be extracted from the fabric in benzene at room temperature for two days.</p> |
