<p>Method involves measurement of size of parking space and position of motor vehicle (1) relative to parking space. The steering of motor vehicle is operated automatically only over the sub-range of the parking method up to an intermediate position (Z) of motor vehicle. After reaching the intermediate position instructions are given to the driver for further processing of the parking method. An independent claim is also included for the system for parking assistance in a vehicle.</p> |
