PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a clean plastic vacant container by continuously sterilizing a PET bottle such as the one for a refreshing drink or another optionally shaped plastic vacant container by means of electron beams at high rate and also properly controlling the rate of a sterilization processing. SOLUTION: The respective plastic vacant containers P are moved in a state where they are correlatively fixed to a turn table 17, etc., and the electron beams are irradiated in the middle of movement. Attention is paid to them and an electron beam sterilizing device is provided with a turn table mechanism 6 (moving mechanism) for vacuum-sucking the plastic vacant container P and rotating it, an electron beam irradiating mechanism 7 for irradiating the plastic vacant container P with the electron beams in the midst of the turn table mechanism 6, a cooling mechanism for cooling the moving mechanism 6 and a discharge mechanism 9 for discharging the electron beam-irradiated plastic vacant container P. |
