PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio information recording apparatus for recording corrected music data to a built-in HDD, wherein the recording level of the corrected music data is corrected to a prescribed level, with respect to the music data of a plurality of music items ripped from a CD or the like, and having recording levels that differ from each other. SOLUTION: The audio information recording apparatus for recording music data to the built-in HDD is provided with a temporary buffer section B for temporarily storing the captured music data; and a correction section K for correcting the average audio signal level of the music data read from the temporary buffer section, and the music data which are arranged at a prescribed level by the correction section are recorded in the HDD.
