The greater portion of internal cricothyroid and thyroarytenoid muscles is excised and vocal process of arytenoid cartilage is excised. Nasal septum autocartilage is brought under the frontal one-third of the vocal fold, the flexible cone with the vocal fold are taken apart. Then, autograft is placed onto external thyroid cartilage plate and sutures are fixed thereon. ^ EFFECT: retained vocal ligament and larynx protection function; early cannula removal; reduced risk of suture eruption through thyroid cartilage plate. ^ 5 dwg
