PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sound quality of a loudspeaker apparatus, in particular, to reduce air noise in a small-sized bass reflex box. SOLUTION: The loudspeaker apparatus is constituted of: a box 1 where a loudspeaker unit is mounted; a bass reflex port unit 2 fixed to the box; a permeable elastic body 3 provided in an opening of the bass reflex port unit 2; and an opening 4 provided in the middle part of the elastic body in parallel with the bass reflex port unit 2. Thus, the air noise caused by the small diameter bass reflex port unit in the small-sized bass reflex box can be reduced while maintaining the bass reflex effect. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
