PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply apparatus designed to deliver a stable output that is equal to or more than before, while making the configuration of a smoothing circuit smaller in size than before. SOLUTION: A switching power supply apparatus includes a smoothing circuit 4 configured to replace a choke coil portion in a conventional smoothing circuit with a circuit portion 40 having a filter function. The circuit portion 40 has a series circuit 45 consisting of a third inductor 43 and a capacitor 44 connected to a first and a second inductors 41, 42 in series each other.
