PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking and unlocking indication device capable of completely burying a cylinder lock in a holding member such as a cylinder or the like and making the indication of locking and unlocking also in such a lock that the rotation of an inner cylinder can not be confirmed from the outside. SOLUTION: The inside cylinder lock 4 is incorporated into a block-shaped base 8, and a connection bar 14 is planted to the front end of an arm 13 of a thumb-turn core 11 coaxially interconnected to the inner cylinder. On the other hand, a bottom surface inside indication ring 21 of a cover 17 is rotatably guided, a connection cylinder 15 is planted on the surface of an outdoor side of the indication ring 21, the connection bar and the connection cylinder are fitted into a relief groove to interconnect the thumb-turn core and the indication ring to each other, and an indication window is formed in the bottom surface of the cover opposed to the surface of an indoor side of the indication ring, a hue difference is provided to a part of the indication ring looking out of the indication window in the case of locking and unlocking.
