POLYESTER FIBER CORD FOR RUBBER REINFORCEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber cord for rubber reinforcement having improved heat-resistant adhesiveness between the polyester fiber and a rubber in a high-temperature environment and improved heat-resistant strength retention and provide a method for producing the fiber cord.

SOLUTION: The polyester fiber cord for rubber reinforcement has an adhesive layer composed of inner and outer double layers. The main component of the adhesive of the inner layer part of the cord is a water-soluble nylon resin (N) copolymerized with a hydrophilic compound and an epoxy resin (E) and the main component of the adhesive of the outer layer part of the cord is composed of a resorcinol-formaldehyde precondensation product and a rubber latex.
