PURPOSE: A method for calculating a thermal stability parameter of a nano structure cell is provided to calculate effective magnetostatic field of a balance magnetic state by using a micro magnetic computer simulation. CONSTITUTION: An effective magnetostatic field of a balance magnetic state is calculated by a micro magnetic computer simulation. A thermal stability parameter is calculated by substituting the calculated results to analytic equation about total energy. A magnetic random access memory uses exchange-coupled trilayer(200) as a free layer. The calculated parameter is used for designing a thermally stabled magnetic cell. Magnetostatic energy is used in the exchange-coupled trilayer including a first magnetic layer, an intermediate nonmagnetic layer, and a second magnetic layer.
