<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of displaying a measured result at a display device after it is detected that a hand is separated from an electrode for the hand and making the operation of display by a subject possible. <P>SOLUTION: This biological measuring device is provided with a contact judging means for judging whether or not at least one of a right hand and a left hand is in contact with the electrode for the hand, and since the display device displays the measured result in the case of judging that it is not in contact by the contact judging means, the measured result is not displayed during the electrode of the hand is being held. Thus, the subject does not perform an operation by an input device such as the changeover of display while forgetting to release the electrode for the hand.
