[Also in Divisions A4, A5, B3, B5 and F4] A composite sheet comprises a corrugated sheet 47, Fig. 4 secured to a flat sheet 45 by adhesive 51 which is contained in troughs in one or both of the sheets. The troughs 50 may be in the crests of the corrugations or in the flat sheets or in both. There may be holes in the troughs through which the adhesive protrudes, sets and forms a lock. The composite sheet may comprise a flat sheet secured to each side of the corrugated sheet and two of these sheets are joined edge to edge by aluminium channels 124, Fig. 22 one secured in an edge of each sheet and inter-engaging by channels 133 containing adhesive 145. Two sheets are joined at right angles by means of the channels 124 and angle strips. The sheet is of aluminium alloy and may be of plastics. Two of the sheets may be secured to either side of a sheet of foamed polystyrene, Fig. 20 (not shown) or the sheet 113, Fig. 19 may have a sheet 118 of foamed plastics covered with aluminium 120 secured to one side and a glass fibre sheet 121 secured to the other. |
