<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printing apparatus which can decrease curling and can print at a low cost in an inkjet type image printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image printing apparatus printing read image data by an inkjet style, has a region dividing means for dividing the image data into a plurality of regions, a density detecting means for detecting the density of the image data corresponding to each region divided by the region dividing means, a calculating means for calculating the number of regions which have a specified value or larger of the density of each region detected by the density detecting means, and a judging means for judging whether the number of regions calculated by the calculating means is at least the number of the specified regions. When it is judged by the judging means that the number of the regions calculated by the calculating means is at least the number of specified regions, a density decreasing processing is applied on the images in the regions which have at least a specified value of the density of each region detected by the density detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
