ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay having stable contact resistance Rc of a contact without adhering and depositing an organic gas constituent generated from a forming resin component and resin for sealing on the surface of the contact and without generating any non-conductors. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electromagnetic relay comprises a step for manufacturing a body section 12 by arranging an electric contact section and an electromagnetic drive section at a forming resin base section 15; a step for manufacturing a forming resin cover 11 for covering the body section 12; a step for manufacturing the resin 13 for sealing by kneading an organic matter at a boiling point of 60-120°C with a weight ratio of 1-3% while vapor pressure at 25°C is 1.3-13.3 kPA without containing polar groups or aromatic rings; and a step for covering the body section 12 with a forming resin cover 11 for sealing by using the resin 13 for sealing.
