<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and efficient method for producing 2'-deoxyguanosine compound, suitable for industrial production. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the 2'-deoxyguanosine compound expressed by formula (2) comprises a process of performing the desulfurizing reaction of 8,2'-anhydro-8-mercapto-9-β-arabinofranosylguanine compound expressed by formula (1) in a solvent in the presence of a base by using a nickel or nickel alloy. Provided that in the above formulae, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>are each independently H or a protecting group of hydroxy; and R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>are each H or a protecting group of amino group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
