<p>A method for detecting the pork quality traits and carcass traits is disclosed here. The method according to this invention uses a pair of primers with the sequences of SEQ IN No. 1 and 2 to amplify the genome DNA of pigs by PCR, then detects the product of PCR with the single nucleotide polymorphism test to determine whether the No. 177 base of the 5' end in SEQ ID No.3 is A or G.</p>
