STEEL SHEET PLATED WITH Zn-Al-Mg ALLOY SUPERIOR IN SLIDABILITY, AND SLIDING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a hot-dipped steel sheet which has superior slidability and can be applied to a sliding member for a guide rail in a window regulator or a shutter. SOLUTION: This hot-dipped steel sheet has a hot-dipped layer of a Zn-Al-Mg alloy formed on the surface so as to acquire such a surface quality that the skewness Rsk of the assessed profile specified in JIS B0601 shows -0.3 or less, which is expressed by expression (1): (wherein Rq represents root mean square roughness (= square root of roughness of secondary moment of amplitude distribution curve); and∫Z3(X)dx represents tertiary moment of amplitude distribution curve). The hot-dipped layer has "shrinkage" with an acute shape formed in a base metal direction, which makes the outermost surface flattened, and accordingly shows excellent slidability.
