PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding precursor which, regarding the peripheral edge portion of a fiber-reinforced resin molding that is a problem of the conventional RTM method, is so devised as to eliminate cost-increasing factors such as water jet processing or NC machining for deburring after the molding, the strength-lowering factor due to the generation of resin-rich portions wherein reinforcing fibers are not spread well, and so forth; a manufacturing method of a fiber-reinforced resin molding by the RTM method using this molding precursor; and a fiber-reinforced resin molding. SOLUTION: The molding precursor comprises a main body part and a burr formation part extending continuously outward from the edge of the main body part. The main body part is formed of a first base material which comprises a large number of reinforcing fibers and a second base material which comprises a large number of fibers laminated on the first base material in the outer peripheral part of the main body part. The burr formation part is formed with the second base material which extends outward from the edge of the main body part, and spaces among the many fibers constitute passages for a molding resin.
