An AC generator (1) has negative pole-side rectifier devices (7b) press-fitted to a holder fin (7a) so as to dispose a bottom face (7b2) of the rectifier device (7b) on a surface of the holder fin (7a). The holder fin (7a) is disposed in such a manner that the bottom face (7b2) of the rectifier device (7b) faces a rear frame (6) of the AC generator (1). A clearance is formed between the rear frame (6) and the bottom face (7b2) through which the cooling wind (C) for the rectifier device (7b) flows. The rear frame (6) is provided with a slant face (6c) on its outer wall face for inducing the cooling wind (C) introduced through an opening (8a) of the protection cover (8) of the AC generator (1) to the rectifier devices (7b). Thus, the cooling wind (C) induced by the slant face (6c) can hit on the bottom face (7b2) of the rectifier devices (7b) directly, so as to cool the rectifier device (7b) well.
