PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an embossed sheet, which clearly embosses a sheet and provides an embossed sheet having an excellent design. SOLUTION: A sheet is embossed by an embossing member having projected part groups 10 of geometric pattern and projected part groups 20 of decorative pattern composed of projected parts 21 in a fewer number than that of the projected part groups of geometric pattern. In the operation, the heights of the projected part groups 20 of decorative pattern are 0.01-1.0 mm higher than those of the projected part groups 10 of geometric pattern.
