PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with an air conditioner wherein a vertical vane controlling the airflow of the air conditioner moves when pulled strongly horizontally, making uneven its right and left gaps to a front frame, and deteriorating the appearance of the air conditioner. SOLUTION: A protruding part 3b is provided inside the bearing 3a of the vertical vane 3 controlling the airflow of the air conditioner. A recessed part 4b is provided in the shaft 4a of the motor 4 that drives the vertical vane 3. The protruding part and the recessed part are engaged so that even if pulled strongly the vertical vane 3 will not move. In this way, the air conditioner of high reliability can be provided.
