<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus preventing the occurrence of a rush current which is the cause for fusion welding of relay contacts, a malfunction of an overcurrent detecting circuit of a DC power source circuit, and a malfunction of a CPU by a system using relays in an interlock circuit without suppressing a capacitive load. <P>SOLUTION: The interlock mechanism 200 is constituted by having a power source device 1 equipped with a DC power source circuit 1a of 5V, and a DC power source circuit 1b of 24V, door switches 2, 3 opening and closing the circuits cooperatively the opening and the closing of a front cover 5, connected relays 10, 11 and a relay substrate 8 for holding the relays. In this embodiment, the constitution to connect the door switches 2, 3 in series, to parallel connect the relays 10, 11 via the door switches 2, 3 and to be driven by the power source circuit 1a of 5V is employed. The constitution that the contacts 10a, 11a discretely connect and disconnect the power source of two systems of the outputs 24V1 and 24V2 of the DC power source circuit 1b of 24V to the load 12 is employed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
