PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the defective transfer of a 1st toner image at a prestage transfer part, regarding a one pass system copier for transferring a 1st toner image on a 1st intermediate transfer belt 21 to the 1st surface of a transfer sheet P at the prestage transfer part, thereafter, transferring a 2nd toner image on a 2nd intermediate transfer belt 31 to the 2nd surface of the transfer sheet at a poststage transfer part. SOLUTION: The 2nd intermediate transfer belt 31 is arranged at a position away from the prestage transfer part, and also, a transfer roller 46 as a conductive member coming in contact with the 1st intermediate transfer belt 31 is arranged in the prestage transfer part, and the transfer sheet P is inserted in between the 1st intermediate transfer belt 21 and the transfer roller 46 in the prestage transfer part, then, the transfer sheet P is pressurized by the transfer roller 46 from the 2nd surface side toward the 1st intermediate transfer belt 21, then, the 1st toner image on the 1st intermediate transfer belt 21 is transferred to the 1st surface.
