PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric suitable as an interior material such as a Tatami facing, free from the problem of stickiness inherent to a Tatami facing made of artificial rush, and having the merits of artificial rush such as the easy washing with water and high abrasion resistance to prevent the discoloration of the facing. SOLUTION: The union fabric is produced by using different yarns as the warp and the weft. The warp is a strand produced by covering a spun yarn or a filament yarn with a thermoplastic resin or a foamed thermoplastic resin, and the weft is a thick-denier yarn having a thickness of 550-11,000 dtex and made of a natural fiber and/or a synthetic fiber.
