PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel workpiece conveyance device capable of conveying a workpiece from one side to the other side across a passage at very low cost even if the passage exists between workpiece conveyance devices. SOLUTION: This workpiece conveyance device is provided with a workpiece supporting member 17 on one side for supporting a workpiece W conveyed from the upstream side, a workpiece supporting member 43 on the other side for opposing to the workpiece supporting member 17 on one side by providing the passage P on which a person and a vehicle come and go therebetween and supporting the workpiece W supplied from the workpiece supporting member 17 on one side, and a transfer device for transferring the workpiece supporting member 17 on one side in the direction of the workpiece supporting member 43 on the other side and in its reverse direction. The transfer device is composed of a horizontally driving member 26 for driving horizontally onto a workpiece supporting member 17 side on the other side and in its reverse direction and an expansion and contraction member 3 fixed to a tip side of the horizontally driving member 26 and supporting the workpiece supporting member 17 on one side.
