PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering capable of avoiding generation of torsion in a housing when the housing is attached to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A housing 5 which has a spiral groove and stores and supports a turning shaft moved in the axial direction according to the steering operation comprises a first cylindrical body 51 which has a first pivotably-supporting part to support one side of the turning shaft in the axial direction, a first attaching part 5c and a second attaching part 5d to be attached to the vehicle body at the position separate in the axial direction of the turning shaft, and supports a rotary shaft connected to an output shaft of an electric motor 6, and a second cylindrical body 52 having a second pivotably-supporting part which is connected to the first cylindrical body 51 to support the other side of the turning shaft in the axial direction.
