PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely perform plate feeding to a stencil mounting body in a simple structure without requiring complex control even in a case of a weak nerve stencil printing plate original paper consisting substantially of only a film. SOLUTION: The plate feeder 13 of a stencil printing machine supplies the stencil printing plate original paper 17 made up by a plate making device 11 and conveyed, to the stencil mounting body 19 of a printing device 12. The plate feeder is equipped with a plate feeder member 65 installed therein free to advance or retreat in the conveyance direction X2 of the stencil printing plate original paper 17. The plate feeder member engages over the entire width on advancing, with the end part of the stencil printing plate original paper 17 bent in the direction across the conveyance direction X2.
