<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with which the contrast of a display panel and the sound volume of a speech guide device can be adjusted by a single adjustment value input means. <P>SOLUTION: The adjustment value, inputted by a single adjustment value input means, is applied to a contrast adjusting means of the display panel as the contrast adjustment value of the display panel. The image forming apparatus is equipped with a control means for controlling whether the adjustment value is applied as the sound volume adjustment value of the speech guide device to the speech guide device. The control means applies the adjustment value, inputted by the adjustment value input means as the contrast adjustment value of the display panel, to the contrast adjusting means of the display panel when an ordinary mode is set as an operation guide mode. When a speech guide mode is set as the operation guide mode, the control means applies the adjustment value, inputted by the adjustment value input means as the sound volume adjustment value of the speech guide device, to the speech guide device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
