<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position measuring system easily-usable practically by utilizing a visible light communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In this position measuring system, the current position of a vehicle 1 is measured by using a visible light communication beacon for transmitting position information by means of a visible light signal, and image information imaged by one camera. The visible light communication beacon includes a road illumination lamp 30 and a visible light communication device 31 provided on a road illumination pole 3. The vehicle 1 has a vehicle position measuring device 10 loaded with one camera, for demodulating the position information of the visible light communication beacon from the visible light signal 310, and calculating the current position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
