PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize sharing of data among a plurality of computers while suppressing loads to the computers and a network. SOLUTION: A storage subsystem 3 copies update contents of data of a disk 31 by normal processing of an application program 14 to a disk 32. When allowing utilization of the contents of the disk 31 from a host 2a, the application program 14 interrupts copy processing to the disk 32. An application program 24 of the host 2a replaces the disk 32 with a disk 33 to utilize the disk 32 in place of the disk 33.
