PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power current of a proper waveform by suppressing increase of a harmonic current of a specific order by influence of a shunt current to a capacitor, in a configuration having the capacitor connected between a load device connected to a power source and a detector of a load current thereof. SOLUTION: Basically, this active filter 11 detects a harmonics current Ih inside the load current I1 flowing through the load device 2 connected to the power source 1, generates a compensation current Ic in antiphase to the harmonics current Ih, and suppresses the harmonics current Ih by the compensation current Ic. A preceding stage of a compensation current detection part 4a detecting the harmonics current Ih of the active filter 11 is connected with a BEF (band elimination filter) 12 cutting off only the harmonic current of the specific order inside the harmonics current Ih. The harmonic current of the specific order increased by the influence of the shunt current If when the capacitor 7 is connected between the load device 2 and the current detector 3 is cut off by the BEF 12.
