PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element in which a drive voltage is low, reliability is high, which can prevent the short circuit of electrodes, and can give high extraction efficiency of the light and high hole-injecting or hole-transporting, and also to provide an electronic apparatus using it. SOLUTION: A conjugate molecule with small ionization potential and a substance with electronic acceptance to the conjugate molecule are mixed to form a complex. A compound layer which constitutes an element is formed using the complex as an element material. The compound layer is arranged between the first electrode and the light emitting layer or between the second electrode and the light emitting layer.
