摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for suppressing shifting shock in a drive device which has an automatic transmission for performing clutch-to-clutch shift and an input clutch for mechanically connecting an engine to the automatic transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In a shift transient process for the automatic transmission, underlapping control is given to the releasing operation of a release side engaging device and the engaging operation of an engagement side engaging device. During the underlapping control, the clutch-to-clutch shift is controlled by a shift transient control means 118 so that torque assist control is executed by a second motor generator MG2 to output assist torque T<SB>M2A</SB>to driving wheels 32, thus avoiding an overlapping condition and surely preventing shifting shock due to tie-up while suppressing the degradation of accelerating performance or the occurrence of a torque-free feel (a free running feel) during the underlapping control when engine torque T<SB>E</SB>is not transmitted to the driving wheel 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
