PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reverse voltage input protection similar to a bipolar product and reverse current prevention protection in a voltage state between reverse input and output by utilizing a merit of low current consumption of a CMOS voltage regulator. SOLUTION: In a voltage regulator in which at least a driver is constituted only of an MOS transistor, P-channel MOS transistors M31, M30 are arranged on a voltage input terminal VIN side and a voltage output terminal VOUT side, the input terminal VIN side is set as the drain side of the P-channel MOS transistor 31, voltage which is the same as threshold voltage or more is applied as gate potential, also the P-channel MOS transistor M30 of the output terminal VOUT side sets the output terminal VOUT as a drain, and a voltage regulator circuit and the output terminal side P-channel MOS transistor M30 are driven by a current passed through the input terminal side P-channel MOS transistor M31.
