<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling method of ink supply and a multicolor printing machine which make it possible to preset more correctly a degree of opening of an ink key. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a test image printing process wherein a test image is printed by using a printing plate whereon the test image having a dot percent changed is recorded, a measuring process wherein the dot percent of the test image in a printed matter having this test image printed is measured for each color by measuring the printed matter, a correction table preparing process wherein a correction table is prepared by comparing the dot percent for each color of the test image in the printing plate with the dot percent for each color of the test image in the printed matter, a color tone changing process wherein the image data of an image of the printed matter for actual printing are changed in a color tone by using the correction table, and a presetting process wherein the degree of opening of the ink key is preset by utilizing the image data after the change of the color tone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
