<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor felt for papermaking, hardly receiving damage by the pressing by the press of a press mechanism, and having excellent durability, proper water-squeezing properties, and excellent function for smoothening the surface of wet paper; and to provide a press device of paper machine having the conveyor felt for the papermaking. <P>SOLUTION: The conveyor felt 100 for the papermaking has a base layer 11, a first butt layer 13A formed on the surface of the base layer 11 at the wet paper side, a second butt layer 13B formed on the surface of the base layer 11 at the roll side or the shoe side, and a wet paper-contacting layer 25 formed on the surface of the first butt layer 13A at the wet paper side so as to directly contact with the wet paper.
