PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of accurately computing colors obtained by combining a particular color and other colors, for example, combining a particular color and RGB or CMYK colors. SOLUTION: The image processing method converts RGB values (or CMYK values) and particular colors into Lab values by referring to an ICC profile 140 and a particular color table 139 (S102), converts the Lab values into CMY data in a color space for color mixing by referring to a spectral DB 138 (S103), acquires spectral data corresponding to the CMY data by referring to the spectral DB 138 (S104), calculates spectral data of the mixed colors by using the acquired spectral data (S105), and converts the spectral data of the mixed colors into Lab values (S106).
